Golf Course Project - August 15, 2018 - The OCC Golf Course Project is Underway!

Keith Foster was on site Monday and Tuesday to get the project rolling. Construction has begun on Holes 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 with major focus on Hole 14.

14 Green was re-contoured to soften the downward slope nearest the approach.  This will allow for more hole locations.

The LaBar equipment operator is extremely skilled!  The majority of the leveling work is done just with the bucket by adding sand where needed and then tamping it down.  Two staff members rake the area smooth as needed.

 

While Keith Foster was on site, one bunker was used as a template to develop the construction technique.  From then on all of the bunkers will be held to this standard.
